TAVERNER WAY : E-Newsletter
VOL. 1
Communicating the Taverner Way
Philip Mitchell-Taverner, Managing Director Welcome to this first
newsletter from Taverner Research. This year we celebrate 10 years
in the business of understanding Australian's attitudes to a whole
range of subjects from "What winning a Million Dollars would
mean" for Oz Lotto back in 1995, "who voters thought might
win the election of the day" through to "How they feel
about the environment in their daily lives" at state and local
government levels. |

 |
In looking back over the past decade we realise
that while we have been enjoying our work and developing our
people and our clients - the fact is we haven't been talking
to our clients, friends, contacts about the company and its
ideals as often as we would like.
So with that in mind we have decided to send out a newsletter
on an irregular basis. Sometimes it will have a lot to say,
other times it might be something we are bursting to tell
you - and that will be all it contains.
Give the Taverner Way a read and decide if you
would like to hear more. This edition is more about the Taverner
team - but over the coming year we would like to talk more
about what is going on in the world of research and present
a Taverner view.
|
I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of those
who have made Taverner the company it is today, whether staff or
client or willing participant in a survey or focus group. |

industry - Chile, USA, UK, Poland, China, Korea and many more - indeed
so many we have banned any display of national flags in the foyer.
In coming issues we'll spotlight individual members of the team, so
be ready to visit some of the worldís great places with some of the
worldís nicest and brightest people. |

"We wanted a website that reflected what we offered
but more importantly we wanted one that provided more usability
for our clients. First it had to introduce our people and
our philosophy of 'The Taverner Way'. Equally importantly,
we also wanted it to demonstrate a core Taverner belief, that
research findings should and can be a part of everyday company
operations. Working with our clients, we are currently loading
key research findings and resources into a secure folder that
only they can access.
We have had numerous occasions where clients have lost copies
of research or not had them at meetings when they have been
interstate or overseas. The new Taverner Client log in provides
a single, simple yet highly secure answer for those occasions.
Each area is also linked to the Client Supervisor by email
- so any questions can be addressed quickly.
I am happy to say that this is one client log in area that
will provide a real service for clients and I look forward
to extending its ability to meet more day to day needs." |

At the last AMSRS conference in Melbourne we launched our
new Taverner Way. Essentially we put into words both our philosophies
and methodology for developing research with true insight.
As with everything we do at Taverner, our people and the contribution
of their individual knowledge and expertise are key to our
product. If youíd like to know more - log on to our website
